FISHING REPORTS

5/13/08 Tuesday at 9 AM; Today's 1 PM trip is canceled. Starting 6 PM tonight all trips are on. Thursday we start fluke every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

5/12/08 Monday at 4 PM: Tuesday's 7 AM trip is canceled.

5/12/08 Monday at 1 PM: All trip are canceled for today.

5/11/08 Sunday at 5 PM: Today's 1 PM trip caught 30 sea bass, keeping 10; 3 blacks; 5 porgies.

5/11/08 Sunday at 12 Noon: Yesterday's 1 PM trip didn't sail. The 6 PM trip caught 12 stripers, keeping 2 and 3 blues. The 11 PM trip caught 55 stripers, keeping 7 and 4 blues. Jose Santilices caught 13 up to 15 lbs. Today's 7 AM trip caught; 60 sea bass, keeping 30; 15 ling; 12 blacks; 10 porgies; 1 fluke; 1 cape shark. Monday's 7 AM and 1 PM trips are canceled.

5/10/08 Saturday at 2 PM: Today the ocean was to rough for sea bass. Tomorrow looks good. Today's 7 AM trip fished in the bay with 9 fishermen and caught 31 stripers, 2 over 28 inches and a few blues.

5/9/08 Friday at 5 PM: Tonight's 6 PM and 11 PM trips are canceled.

5/9/08 Friday at 2 PM: Tonight's 6 PM trip is canceled. We will decide about the 11 PM trip by 8 PM tonight. Saturday all trips will sail and likely fish in the bay.

5/8/08 Thursday at 9 PM: Tonight's 6 PM trip has 10 fishermen. They have 50 blues and 1 keeper striper so far. Tomorrow's 7 AM and 1 PM trips are canceled.

5/7/08 Wednesday at 6 PM: Today's 1 PM trip caught 60 sea bass, keeping 30; 12 porgies; 2 ling; 2 blacks; 3 blues; 4 cape shark.

5/7/08 Wednesday at 2 PM: Yesterday's 1 PM trip caught 30 sea bass, keeping 15, plus a few porgies. Last nights 6 PM trip caught 70 blues for 9 fishermen. Today's 7 AM trip caught 70 sea bass, keeping 28; 35 big porgies; 3 ling; 3 blues; 2 cape shark; 15 blacks.

5/6/08 Tuesday at 3PM: Last night's 6 PM trip wound up catching 150 blues. It was a slaughter at the end. Today's 7 AM trip caught 100 sea bass for 9 fishermen, keeping 46. There were 6 fish between 3 and 5 pounds. We also caught a 15 lb. striper; 15 blacks; 15 big porgies; 3 ling; 15 cape shark.

5/5/08 Monday at 10 PM: Sunday's 6 PM trip caught 6 stripers, keeping 2 and 12 blues. Today's 7 am trip caught; 30 sea bass, keeping 15; 10 ling; 10 blacks; 10 porgies; 6 cape shark. The afternoon trip caught about the same. Tonight they caught 75 blues.

5/4/08 Sunday at 4 PM: So far the 1 PM trip has caught; 20 sea bass, keeping 10; 20 cape shark; and a few out of season porgies, blackfish, and fluke.

5/4/08 Sunday at 11 AM: Last night's 6 PM trip caught 10 stripers, keeping 5. The 11 PM trip didn't sail. Today's 7 AM trip didn't sail. The weather looks good for today's 1 PM trip.

5/3/08 Saturday at 10 AM: We didn't sail Friday. Today's 7 Am trip has caught a few stripers and blues so far.

5/2/08 Friday at 5 PM: We didn't sail last night or today. No fishermen came down. I guess the forecast scared them. We are planning to sail both trips tonight.

5/1/08 Thursday at 5 PM: Today's 1 PM trip sailed with 8 fishermen and caught; 50 sea bass, keeping 35; 12 blacks; 2 porgies; 1 ling; 10 cape shark.

5/1/08 Thursday at 2 PM: Today's 7 AM trip sailed with 8 fishermen. They caught; 10 sea bass, keeping 7; 6 out of season porgies; 1 ling; 1 pout; 1 out of season fluke; 1 out of season blackfish; 16 cape shark.

4/30/08 Wednesday at 9 PM: Today's 1 PM trip sailed with 8 fishermen and caught; 10 sea bass, keeping 3; 8 blackfish, keeping 3; 3 ling; 10 cape shark. Tonight's 6 PM trip has caught 5 blues and 5 short stripers so far.

4/30/08 Wednesday at 2 PM: Today's 7 AM trip caught; 23 sea bass, keeping, 10; 11 blacks, keeping 3; 20 out of season porgies; 1 ling; 1 out of season fluke; 18 cape shark; 2 pout.

4/29/08 Tuesday at 11 PM: Tonight's 6 PM trip caught 4 blues and 18 stripers, keeping 1, for 8 fishermen.

4/29/08 Tuesday at 11 AM: Today's 1 PM trip is canceled due to weather. All other trips are on.

4/28/08 Monday at 1PM: All trips today are canceled due to weather. Tuesday's 7 AM trip is canceled due to weather. We will decide on Tuesday's 1 PM trip by 10 AM Tuesday. Tuesday night and Wednesday look good.

4/27/08 Sunday at 9 PM: Today's 1 PM trip sailed with 8 fishermen. They caught; 20 sea bass, keeping 10; 15 blackfish, keeping 3; 3 ling; 15 cape shark. So far the night trip has 75 big bluefish and 1 short striper.

4/27/08 Sunday at 2 PM: Today's 7 AM trip sailed with 8 fishermen and caught; 20 big out of season porgies; 32 sea bass, keeping 14; 26 blacks, keeping 11; 1 keeper cod; 1 bluefish; 8 cape shark. Monday's 7 AM and 1 PM trips are canceled due to forecast high seas.

4/26/08 Saturday at 11 PM: Tonight's 6 PM trip caught 33 blues between 3 and 8 lbs. and 7 stripers, keeping 1.

4/26/08 Saturday at 5 PM: Today's 7 AM trip didn't sail. Today's 1 PM trip sailed with 11 fishermen and caught 1 keeper cod; 14 blacks, keeping 7; 8 keeper ling; 8 sea bass, keeping 4; 10 cape shark. Tonight at 6 PM we start stripers every night.

4/25/08 Friday at 7 PM: Today's 7 AM trip caught; 4 keeper cod; 30 blacks, keeping 7; 1 ling; 20 sea bass, keeping 7; 2 out of season porgies; 12 cape shark. Today's 1 PM trip caught; 2 cod, keeping 1; 12 short blacks; 15 sea bass, keeping 3; 2 ling; 11 cape shark.

4/24/08 Thursday at 6PM: Today's 7 AM trip caught 20 blackfish, keeping 4; 20 sea bass, keeping 6; 5 cod keeping 2; 25 cape shark; 1 short pollack. Today's 1 PM trip caught 3 keeper cod; 16 blackfish, keeping 6; 10 sea bass, keeping 3; 20 cape shark; 5 pout.

4/20/08 Sunday at 6 PM: Today's 1PM trip fished in the bay and did not catch anything. Tonight's 6 PM trip did not sail. We sent a few fishermen to the 7 PM boat. I think we will see the fishing break loose after this full moon.

4/20/08 Sunday at 12 Noon: Today's 7 AM trip caught a 7 pound blackfish and 15 cape shark for 9 fishermen.

4/20/08 Sunday at 8 AM: Last night's striper trip did not catch any. I guess we started too soon. They should arrive any day now.

4/19/08 Saturday at 5 PM: Today's 1 PM trip caught 1 keeper blackfish and 20 cape shark on the ocean reef.

4/19/08 Saturday at 12 Noon: Today's 7 am trip caught 3 blackfish, largest 6 pounds; 5 sea bass, keeping 2; 1 mackerel; and 35 cape shark.

4/18/08 Friday at 8:30 PM: Today we had a big roll in the ocean that always hurts the inshore fishing. It is supposed to be gone by tomorrow. On the 7 AM trip we caught 2 blackfish, one was 8 lbs. and a seven pound cod. The 1 PM trip caught 8 cape shark.

4/17/08 Thursday at 7 PM: Today there was a 5 foot roll in the ocean . we caught our first sea bass and the only cod won the pool. Today's 1 PM trip caught 1 flounder.

4/13/08 Sunday at 6 PM: Today's 7 AM trip had a 5 foot roll in the ocean. we caught 3 blackfish, largest 4 lbs.; 5 cape shark; 3 pout and 12 cunners. The 1 PM trip fished in the bay for 1 flounder. Striper season opens Tuesday. Thursday morning we will striper fish for at least the first hour.

4/12/08 Saturday at 11AM: Today's 1 PM trip is canceled. Sunday we will sail at 7 AM and 1 PM.

4/11/08 Friday at 7 PM: Saturday's 7 AM trip is canceled. We will decide weather the 1 PM trip will sail by 11 AM tomorrow.

4/11/08 Friday at 10 AM: We did not sail this morning. Today's 1 PM trip is canceled. We will decide about Saturday by 5 PM today.

4/10/08 Thursday at 5 PM: Today's 1 PM trip caught 1 flounder. Tomorrow we plan to sail for blacks and cod in the morning. We will decide about the 1PM trip by 11 AM.

4/10/08 Thursday at 3 PM: We fished the ocean reef this morning. There was a leftover four foot southeast roll and cloudy water. We caught 1 cape shark, 5 skates, and a lobster. This afternoon Capt. Ken went flounder fishing.

4/8/08 Tuesday at 11 AM: Thursday's weather looks good. We will be sailing two trips for local cod and blacks.

4/5/08 Saturday at 7 PM: Today at 1 PM we fished for flounder. We dad not catch any. Tomorrow's trips are canceled due to forecast high wind and seas.

4/5/08 Saturday at 9:30 am: There is a 6 foot southeast  swell in the ocean, therefore today's 1 Pm trip will sail for flounder in the bay.

4/4/08 at 6 PM: Saturday's 7 AM trip is canceled. The 1 pm trip looks better. We will decide if the afternoon trip will sail by 10 AM tomorrow.

4/3/08 Thursday at 6 PM: Today's 1 PM trip kept 5  codfish and caught 12 blackfish, keeping 2, plus 2 cape shark for 10 fishermen.

4/3/08 Thursday at 2 PM: Today's 7 AM trip had 10 fishermen. They caught 8 blackfish, keeping 2 and 5 cape shark. Friday is canceled.

4/3/08 Thursday at 6 AM: This morning we will fish for blackfish and cod. If the fishing is ok we will do the same at 1 PM. Friday's trips are canceled due to weather.

4/2/08 Wednesday at 8 AM: WE will sail tomorrow. The 7 AM trip will fish for blackfish and cod. The 1 PM trip will fish for either blackfish and cod or flounder.

3/30/08 Sunday at 8 PM: Today we caught 20 codfish, keeping 8; 20 blackfish, keeping 5; 6 pout; 12 cape shark. Thursday we start 7 AM and 1 PM

3/28/08 Friday at 5 PM: Saturday's trip is canceled due to forecast wind and seas. Sunday sounds good and we will sail.

3/27/08 Thursday at 5 PM: Friday's trip is canceled due to the weather forecast. Today we had a nice ocean, except for a six foot ground swell that seemed to turn the fish off. We caught 7 cod, keeping 3; 8 blackfish, keeping 2; and a few ling, pout and cape shark.

3/26/08 Wednesday at  1 PM: We will be sailing tomorrow at 6 AM.

3/26/08 Wednesday at 8 AM: We will decide if Thursday's trip will sail by 5 PM today.

3/25/08 Tuesday at 8 AM: It looks like we will be sailing on Thursday. We will make our final decision tomorrow.

3/23/08 Easter Sunday at 5 pm: Today we caught 12 cod, keeping 7, 10 ling, 10 blackfish, keeping 1, 12 pout, and 15 cape shark.

3/22/08 Saturday ay 5 pm: We will be sailing tomorrow. Today we caught 50 cod, keeping 27 up to 15 lbs., 30 ling, 20 blackfish, keeping 8, 10 pout, and 15 cape shark.

3/21/08 at 4 pm: Saturday and Sunday look good. We will be sailing at 6 am for cod, blacks, and ling.

3/20/08 Thursday at 8 am: Friday's trip is canceled due to forecast gale winds and high seas.

3/18/08 Tuesday at 9 pm: Thursday's trip is canceled due to forecast high winds and seas.
